The Solia is flat iron. I like that it has actual temperature settings, it’s light and produces qualified results.

I’ve owned this for a few days and am amazed at the fantastic job it does. The iron itself heats up promptly and cools off promptly. I chose it over a CHI since it comes with a heat setting, which a similarly priced Chi did not. I bought this directly from Folica. It came with a 2 year guarantee and free shipping. As someone else mentioned, if you are not sure about this product, go to Folica’s website and read all the reviews.

I ordered the Solia Qualified Terracotta Ion Flat Iron (1-1/4″), it is a fantastic product, as long as it works. After a few months of use, it broke, melted, and nearly trapped on fire. I have had more than 10 emails back and forth with this seller and the manufacturer. The manufacturer could care less and tells me to talk to the seller. The seller does not answer to my emails, other than a generic canned answer.
The seller wants me to pay for shipping to return the product, and also pay for shipping for them to return the repaired item back to me.
No matter how excellent this product is when it works, I would strongly recommend staying away from this seller, or the manufacturer. They do not stand behind their product, even in special cases where here was potential to burn my home down.
At this point, I just want my money back, I would never use this product out of opinion. While here are many solid excellent reviews, those are all for customers whose product did not fail them. In those cases, I am sure you will be pleased, but if you happen to get a terrible product, consider it equivalent to throwing your money away, as you will never get it back, other than filing a claim with Visa which I plot on doing

This is the first time I’ve ever straightened my hair on my own and my first straightening tool that I’ve ever bought.I’m very very satisfied with it! It was very simple to use and took a lot less effort than I imagined to tidy my hair, especially since my hair is long curly and VERY thick! It made my hair sleek, straight and healthy looking! The iron heated up sweet promptly,even when I set it at the second highest temperature! The only downside to the product is that the hair is hot to upset for a small second right after it went through the iron. I give this product 4 1/2/ stars!!!

I’ve been straightening my hair just about every day for the past 11 being. I’ve tried many uncommon brands and styles, this is by far my favorite! I got it as a gift nearly 6 being ago. It works so well, my hair stays straight all day, it smooths out the glide aways and frizzies (which I have a lot of). My hair looks healthy and shiny, people are always bowled over when I tell them I’ve been straightening my hair for so long. I can even use it to start a loose curl in my hair, it’s super quick and looks fantastic! As I said I’ve had this for 6 being now, and it’s just now starting to give out. I’m definately getting the same one, I wouldn’t even reckon about varying. LOVE IT!
