I like this apron. Here a lot of neck adjustment sizes on it. I like the ease of just throwing it in the wash when I am done. I do hang it dry.

I have been giving my 2 boys home haircuts since they were small, but one of my sons always complains about hair on his neck. I had been using painting smocks to keep them clean, but the smocks were uncomfortable, and did not seal up around the neck sufficiently. I needed something designed for haircuts to keep the hair out of the kid’s shirts. Adult smocks are just too huge, so I found this smock on Amazon.com. It fits the need perfectly. It has manifold snaps in the collar so I can adjust the diameter to match my kid’s neck. It adjusts small enough that I can even place it on my 2 year ancient and get a snug fit so that hair does not go down his shirt. Here are enough snaps that I can also adjust it for my 5 year ancient, and it looks like I could use this for a few more being. The design is quaint and nice. My only complaint is that the hair does tend to stick to it, so I can’t just shake it out–I need to throw it in the washing machine occasionally. Recommended buy for the home haircutter!

My son (3 being ancient) was nervous of getting his hair cut by Mommy for obvious reasons, but also he didn’t like the hair falling on his arms and sticking to his skin. I found this cape and had to buy the cute penguin design. It’s a fantastic soft material, very simple to clean, and even fits around my neck (even if a small snug). We’ve used it already and he initially didn’t want it but I told him the alternative of hair on his skin. He got used to it and it’s simpler for me than cleaning all the nooks and crannies of his outfit. Fantastic quality, fantastic price! Get ready to save a LOT of money!
